Trading

A trade is the transfer of a player or players from one team to another in exchange for other player(s) from the other team. By default trades can be done between any team within a league at any time during the season. There are several options available to the league commissioner to restrict the use of trades including forcing a trade deadline after which no further trades can be made.

Best practice is to set the trade deadline to about mid-season. Setting it later may mean that a team out of contention for the finals could trade all their gun players to a team coached by their friend for not much in return.
