Player Research
To search for a player, simply type their name into the search box in the top-right corner of the page or visit 'Player Research' in the menu for all your research requirements.
If logged in, you can add players you like to your watch list and if your draft is in progress, add them to your contingency list.
Player Positions
Traditionally FantasyFooty.net.au has assumed the same player positions as the AFL Dream Team and Herald-Sun SuperCoach competitions. After concerns raised by our users and discussion with some die hard FantasyFooty.net.au members, it was proposed that we give extra positions to some players this year in an attempt to ensure that all teams in a 16 team fantasy competition can be filled on a weekly basis (this had been an issue last season).
Below is a list of players whom we have given extra positions based on where they played last season, media reports from the pre-season or match reports from the first round of the NAB Cup. Please note that we did not want to just assign random players extra positions because the site will then lose some sort of realism.
